Marathon Training: Week 3, Day 6

Miles: 3-3.5

Average Pace: Not sure.  I ran outside without any tracking.

Feeling: Awake but not at top shape

Comments: I love getting up early on the weekends (I know, unlike the majority of the population).  I haven’t run outside since early January and thought I might as well before it gets too hot to handle.  The temperatures are already in the mid 70’s before the sun rises..just wait until June.

It was lovely to run outside but there is definitely a different feeling than on a treadmill.  The sidewalk doesn’t absorb like the treadmill so you’re lacking a little extra pep in your step.  I just have to retrain myself to run outdoors.  Maybe I’ll save that for my weekend runs as long as it’s not too hot.
