Marathon Training: Week 3, Day 2

Miles: 1.5

Average Pace: 10:54m/m

Feeling: well balanced – it wasn’t hard to start running and wasn’t hard to seadily increase my pace

Comments: I didn’t want to get up this morning.  My alarm was set for 5:30 and I wok up at 5:27, switched the alarm to 7:00 and rolled back over.  Then I thought, what am I doing?  It’s marathon training.  It’s only 1.5 miles today.  I can do this easily.  I don’t even need to get out of bed right this minute.  So I didn’t.  I laid in bed, checked Facebook, and eventually felt awake enough to put on my running clothes.  It worked.  That little extra time spent waking up made me ready to get out of bed and run.  I even had some extra time after my run to do the 21 Day Fix 10 Minute Ab video!  Talk about an unexpected pick me up.
