Marathon Training: Week 2, Day 6

Miles: 3.5+

Average Pace: 3 miles at 10:51m/m, 5 x .1 mile sprints at 8:00m/m. In between sprints were walk breaks 

Feeling: accomplished

Comments: When the morning passes me by without a run, I often find myself making excuses for why I won’t lace up later in the day. Not today. 5pm came and I was ready to run!  I was aiming for a 10:00m/m but I had to slow it down after 15 minutes. When I forget to bring a towel to the gym, I can’t cover the time on the machine. I obsessively focus on the ticking numbers and wear myself out faster.  I added the sprints though so that made me feel more accomplished.
